Job summary

Magna Powertrain is seeking a student for a Spring/Summer 2027 co-op program. The role focuses on assisting the System Concept & Architecture and Product Line Management groups with benchmarking, data research, and strategy development across 4WD, AWD, hybrids, and electrification product lines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Enrolled in an engineering program at an accredited school.
• Understanding of basic engineering theory and design principles.
• Working knowledge of computer-based software and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new product concepts and advancement of the product portfolio.
• Coordinate competitive unit purchases, teardown analyses, and cross-functional reviews in North America.
• Assist with Acquisition Projects RFQ responses and data research.
• Structure and compile technical documentation for product-line best practices.
• Perform data gathering and analysis on customer needs for data-driven decisions.
