Job summary

Archer is revolutionizing sustainable air mobility with an all-electric eVTOL aircraft. We seek an Operations Program Manager to drive end-to-end execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams, ensuring readiness from pre-production to scale.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in program management within aerospace or complex manufacturing, strong collaboration skills, and experience with MBOM/ERP/MRP/MES systems. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management/operations experience in aerospace, automotive, or other complex manufacturing industries.
• Demonstrated success managing technical programs from development through factory readiness into production.
• Strong communication skills, able to interact with engineers, executives and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver critical work packages spanning engineering development, manufacturing validation, and operational readiness.
• Lead cross-functional planning across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
• Drive supplier and factory readiness — ensuring MBOMs and ERP/MRP/MES systems are configured for launch.
• Orchestrate pre-production build activities and ensure milestones are met while balancing quality, cost, and schedule.
• Track program schedules, identify risks, and implement recovery plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain supplier relationships and manage handoffs from development to production planning.
• Provide regular updates to leadership with technical and executive summaries.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
