Job summary

Archer is seeking an Operations Program Manager to drive cross-functional execution for battery cell prototype and production lines. You will orchestrate pre-production builds, validate MBOMs and ERP/MRP/MES readiness, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to scale operations.

The role demands 7+ years in aerospace or complex manufacturing, strong problem-solving, and readiness to travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of program management, manufacturing engineering, or operations in Aerospace/complex manufacturing.
• Strong technical acumen with ability to communicate across executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver critical work packages spanning engineering development, manufacturing validation, and operational readiness.
• Lead cross-functional planning and execution across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
• Drive supplier and factory readiness, ensuring MBOMs and ERP/MRP/MES systems are configured for launch.
• Orchestrate pre-production build activities to meet milestones while balancing quality, cost, and schedule.
• Track program schedules, identify risks, and develop recovery plans for on-time delivery.
• Maintain supplier relationships and oversee handoffs from development to production planning.
• Provide updates to leadership through technical deep-dives and executive summaries.
• Identify process improvements to optimize efficiency and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with technicians and ground operations to ensure smooth transition from build to deployment.
• Manage budgets and expenses, seeking cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing performance.
