Ford Motor Company is seeking an engine manufacturing test engineer to join the Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) team in Dearborn, MI. You will help build world-class powertrains, lead projects, and work with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to deliver new engine programs and ensure top-tier quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Data-driven decision making and computer application experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support the specification, procurement, build, installation and launch of Powertrain Production Test Systems.
• Deliver standardized test processes and equipment aligned with global strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate test processes into manufacturing.
• Develop production test sequences and monitor product function via software interfaces.
• Troubleshoot production issues impacting test systems and warranty, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct equipment acceptance activities for test machines at OEMs and plants.
• Review quality indicators and drive improvements to reduce warranty and improve customer satisfaction.
