Job summary

Harbinger is seeking an ambitious engineering student to join our Powertrain Manufacturing team as an intern. You will support development and manufacturing of the Electric Drive Unit system, including rotor and stator, while helping design production tooling and documentation for manufacturing standards.

You’ll collaborate across functions to drive process improvements, test new tools, and prepare communications.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program related to engineering or similar field.
• Work authorized in the United States or ability to obtain visa.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and design of manufacturing standards, processes, equipment, and tooling for the Powertrain system.
• Develop and document work instructions and SOPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Assist in design, testing, and validation of new tools and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including lean practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations communicating findings and recommendations.
