Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Powertrain PTME professional to drive quality robustness across our engineering factory. You will develop PFMEAs, Control Plans, and 3-Legged 5-Why analyses, lead continuous improvement, and coach launch teams.

Travel to plants as needed and collaborate with Global Quality to improve QOS. The position emphasizes problem solving, teamwork, and leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on warranty reduction and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering with at least 5 years in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with APQP, PFMEA development, and Control Plans.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain PFMEAs and Control Plans aligned with standards.
• Support root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions using structured methods.
• Lead launch quality reviews, warranty deep-dives, and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Plant Quality, and Global Engineering.
