Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and test propulsion system components.

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Desire to work both in and out of test vehicles

Proficient using INCA, Matlab and Simulink/Stateflow

Understanding of the goals of On-Board Diagnostics

Functional understanding of transmission design and operation

Basic proficiency with the major purpose & components in an electrified propulsion system

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and business acumen

Self-motivated/proactive with strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team

Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database applications

Preferred:

Master's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

3+ years' experience in OBD calibration, propulsion system component calibration, OBD or propulsion controls within the electric, gasoline or diesel industry

INCA, Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Minitab, C++ and Visual Basic experience

Additional Must Haves:

Experience with vehicle/control system calibration

Functional understanding of PID Control Systems

Functional understanding of Gas Engine operation

Functional Understanding of Gas Engine exhaust aftertreatment

Years experience: Prefer 3+, but willing to work with new graduates if they have some college/internship experience

Location: Chelsea Proving Grounds (CPG) – Onsite 100%

Driving a Stellantis vehicle is required: Will be required to be drive STLA M-plates & This project is for Hellcat, so any applicants must be experienced drivers & high performance driving/training is a huge plus.

Travel: Yes, up to 20%. All within USA (Colorado, Arizona, California)
