Job summary

Kaygen, Inc. is seeking a Digital Engineering support engineer to back Powertrain Unit projects, with emphasis on production preparation for IC engines, hybrid transmissions, and related powertrain components.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret and create product and process drawings, leveraging Autodesk CAD tools; the role requires strong project management and communication skills and a background in CAE.

Qualifications

• Project management experience including planning, time management, coordination and reporting.
• Experience creating/interpreting product drawings/models, process drawings/models, and equipment drawings/models.
• CAD software proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture, Inventor, Navisworks, Vault, Revit and ReCap at intermediate to advanced level.
• B.S. in Engineering preferred; CAE degree or 3+ years CAE experience considered.
• Expertise with Autodesk applications (AutoCAD Architecture, Inventor Professional, Vault/Data Structure, ReCap, Revit, Navisworks).
• 2D and 3D tools experience is required; on-site skill test may be administered.

Responsibilities

• Provide Digital Engineering support for Powertrain Unit projects.
• Support production preparation elements for IC engines, Hybrid Transmissions, Axles and other Powertrain components.
