Polaris Inc. is seeking a Powertrain Design Manager to lead a diverse team of engineers and designers. You will shepherd powertrain projects, mentor staff, and drive design excellence across multiple programs while coordinating with project teams and module leads in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires extensive engine design experience, GD&T expertise, and strong presentation skills. Minnesota-based position with travel and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• 10+ years of engine design experience.
• Experience leading multi-person design teams.
• Familiarity with GD&T, FMEA, DRBFM, DFM, DFA and dimensional tolerance stack-ups.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to motivate a diverse, cross-functional team.
• Proficient with Creo 3D CAD modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead Powertrain Design Staff and engineers across projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve design quality and process.
• Mentor staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate resource support with project teams and module leads.
• Deliver high design standards and guide problem-solving methods.
• Present to diverse audiences and influence decisions.
