Job summary

Toyota North America in Jackson, TN, seeks a Casting Engineer to establish capital budgets, set equipment specs, and lead trials for major powertrain projects. The role is onsite and reports to the Engineering Manager, supporting the North America Casting Engineering Department.

Candidates should have hands-on manufacturing experience and be capable of leading cross‑functional teams. The position focuses on pre-production planning, budget development, equipment installation, and BEV development

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or higher.
• Experience in production preparation or manufacturing.
• Experience leading capital projects >$5M.
• Experience with project cycles from planning to SOP.

Responsibilities

• Establish capital budgets for major powertrain projects.
• Set equipment and die specs; lead delivery and trials.
• Lead pre-production and SOP planning for casting processes.
• Coordinate with TPMNA/JTNA teams on process and cost.
