Job summary

Dillon Auto Group in Boise, ID is seeking a qualified Powersports Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair premium vehicles across BMW, Ducati, Yamaha, Polaris, and BRP brands. You will work in a large, multi-line dealership, applying technical skills and safety standards daily.

The role emphasizes quality work, effective communication with service advisors and customers, ongoing training, and staying current with product updates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a powersports technician or similar mechanical role within multi-line dealerships preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BMW, Ducati, Yamaha, Polaris, and BRP powersports products and technology.
• Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools proficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism in customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on powersports vehicles including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and personal watercraft from BMW, Ducati, Yamaha, Polaris, and BRP.
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Stay current with technical training and product updates for all represented brands.
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed following dealership and manufacturer protocols.
