Job summary

Dillon Auto Group in Boise, ID is seeking a Powersports Technician to service premium brands including BMW, Ducati, Yamaha, Polaris and BRP.

You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and watercraft, ensure manufacturer standards, and communicate with service advisors and customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a powersports technician or similar mechanical role.
• Strong knowledge of BMW, Ducati, Yamaha, Polaris, and BRP powersports products and technology.
• Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools proficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism in customer interactions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate test vehicles safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on powersports vehicles including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and personal watercraft from BMW, Ducati, Yamaha, Polaris, and BRP.
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Stay current with technical training and product updates for all represented brands.
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed following dealership and manufacturer protocols.
