Job summary

Comoto Holdings, owner of Cycle Gear, is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead the store team and achieve sales targets. You will train staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain strong product knowledge to inform customers about features and benefits.

You will also handle store operations, including opening/closing, returns, and merchandising, while upholding safety and brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ sales management, product sales, customer service experience, ideally in a specialty retail environment.
• Experience with leading, coaching, mentoring, and/or teaching a team (retail or otherwise).
• Experience with computers (MS Excel) and POS systems (RetailPro).
• A self-starter mentality that consistently delivers an outstanding, personalized retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage store team and drive overall store success including sales goals.
• Provide friendly, enthusiastic customer service and deep product knowledge to customers.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, returns/store credit, special orders, and task delegation.
