Job summary

Young Automotive Group central office seeks a motivated Powersports Staff Accountant to join our team in Layton, UT. You will support dealership operations through accurate financial reporting, account reconciliation, and day-to-day accounting tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years accounting experience preferred, dealership or powersports experience a plus.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting functions including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Support dealership managers with financial insights and reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist with audits, budgets, and forecasting as needed.
