Job summary

Timbrook Ford of Oakland is seeking a customer-focused Powersports Service Advisor in Cumberland, MD to guide customers from inquiry to service completion. You will be the main contact for service needs, documenting concerns and coordinating with technicians to ensure timely repairs.

Responsibilities include scheduling, communicating estimates, and processing payments while promoting maintenance services. A positive, professional demeanor and knowledge of powersports or dealership operations are

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, friendly, and confident personality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer concerns.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems preferred.
• Powersports, automotive, marine, RV, or dealership experience is a plus.
• Experience with dealership management systems preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, and dealership staff.
• Passion for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, or outdoor recreation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for service customers.
• Greet customers and accurately document service concerns.
• Schedule service appointments and managing repair orders.
• Communicate estimates, recommended repairs, and timelines.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts department to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide status updates and ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Review and close repair orders, including processing payments.
• Promote maintenance services and upselling additional repairs when appropriate.
• Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
