Job summary

Hunter Power Sports in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a reliable Powersports Porter to help keep our dealership organized, inventory ready, and customers taken care of. No prior powersports or automotive experience is required—we’re willing to train the right candidate.

You’ll work with our sales and service teams to move and prep vehicles, clean and organize inventory, and greet customers. This role offers hands-on training and opportunities to grow with the team.

Responsibilities

• Safely move and position vehicles throughout the dealership.
• Transport vehicles between display areas, service, detailing, and delivery locations.
• Keep new and pre-owned inventory organized and properly positioned.
• Prepare vehicles for demonstrations, test rides, and customer deliveries.
• Operate a forklift as needed to move equipment, materials, and vehicles.
• Greet customers and provide helpful, friendly service.
• Support sales and service team members with vehicle-related tasks.
• Retrieve vehicles for scheduled appointments and customer needs.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dealership.
• Wash and clean vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum and maintain clean interiors.
• Check tire pressure and fuel levels.
• Assist with battery charging when necessary.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and ready for display, delivery, or customer use.
• Help receive and organize new vehicle arrivals.
• Place buyer guides and required information on vehicles.
• Organize keys, key tags, and vehicle information.
• Assist with keeping inventory records and vehicle locations organized.

Hunter Power Sports is looking for a reliable and hardworking Powersports Porter to help keep our dealership organized, our inventory ready, and our customers taken care of.

This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to stay active, enjoys working around vehicles, and wants to learn more about the powersports industry. No previous powersports or automotive experience is required — we are willing to train the right candidate!

You’ll work closely with our sales and service teams to keep vehicles moving, cleaned, organized, and ready for customers.

What You’ll Do

Vehicle & Dealership Support

• Safely move and position vehicles throughout the dealership.


• Transport vehicles between display areas, service, detailing, and delivery locations.

What We’re Looking For

• No previous powersports or automotive experience required — training provided!


• Experience with vehicles, equipment, detailing, or customer service is a plus.


• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.


• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.


• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.


• Comfortable working in an active, fast-paced environment.


• Organized and detail-oriented.


• Team player who is willing to assist wherever needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.


• Clean driving record.


• Ability to safely operate and move vehicles.


• Ability to perform the physical duties required for the position.
