Qualifications

• High School diploma and at least two years of data-entry experience preferred.
• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Strong data entry accuracy and ability to learn PowerSchool.
• Knowledge of enrollment/withdrawal, attendance, immunizations, and health records.

Responsibilities

• Enters and manages student data in PowerSchool, including enrollments, withdrawals, student/teacher/room schedules, transcripts, test scores, immunizations, demographics, etc.
• Monitors teachers’ entry of attendance and grades into PowerSchool. Monitors student absences for correct excused/ unexcused coding. Prepare student absence lists and the daily absence bulletin. Maintains student sign-in/sign-out logs per the principal’s directions.
• Employs the PowerSchool program to generate reports to satisfy the requirements
• Collects data for and prints marking period report cards.
• Requests cumulative records for new students and sends cumulative records upon request for exiting students. Manages student cumulative records according to federal ( FERPA) and district policies and procedures
• Other clerical duties as assigned by the principal.
