Kraft Heinz New Ulm Plant is seeking a Powerhouse Operator to safely operate, monitor and maintain steam boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and auxiliary systems. The role requires operating across multiple shifts, weekend coverage, and adherence to GMP and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minnesota Chief Class Engineer, Grade B or A boiler license required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently, up to 150 pounds infrequently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor steam boiler generators and related systems.
• Monitor natural gas and fuel oil combustion systems and controls.
• Manage plant heating and hot water systems and compressed air equipment.
• Maintain and inspect ammonia refrigeration equipment and safety systems.
• Record utilities usage and log plant operations in the Powerhouse log.
• Perform basic repairs and coordinate PMs with supervisor.
