Job summary

Kraft Heinz in New Ulm, MN is hiring a Refrigeration Specialist in an hourly production role. Under Sr. Maintenance Supervisor, you will operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration, vacuum, HVAC, and related systems to ensure safe and efficient production of cheese products.

The role requires knowledge of process safety, PPE, and HAZWOPER training, with opportunities to obtain MN 1st Class B license. Shift rotations and weekend call-ins are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• MN 1st Class B License or ability to obtain.
• Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operates ammonia refrigeration system and plant HVAC components.
• Maintains sliced cheese refrigeration and Kathabar systems.
• Monitors and maintains compressed air, vacuum, steam and water systems.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in Emergency Response Team.
• Follows OSHA Process Safety Management requirements and safety training.
• Plans and schedules maintenance with supervisors.
