Kohler Co. is hiring a Powerhouse Equipment Operator - Crew C in Kohler, WI. This onsite role runs 6:12PM–6:24AM, 4 days on/4 days off.

The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits starting Day 1 to support health, retirement, and family needs. Responsibilities include operating, inspecting, and troubleshooting Powerhouse equipment, monitoring fire alarms, and maintaining safety and reliability in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and Kohler MVR compliance required.
• Must pass a technical skills assessment.
• Must provide and maintain personal tools for the role.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot Powerhouse equipment and plant utility systems.
• Monitor, respond to, and react to fire system alarms and trouble conditions.
• Follow guidelines with a strong focus on safety and procedures.
• Flexible to cover open shifts on day and night schedules; training during day shifts.
• Work in a heavy industrial environment with heat, cold, dust, oils, noise, and confined spaces.
• Ability to bend, lift, and push 40+ lb materials.

Competitive Compensation: $32.73 per hour, plus $1.50 shift premium

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot all Powerhouse equipment and Plant Utility systems in a manner that is efficient, financially responsible, and responsive to customer needs.
• Monitor, respond to, and react appropriately to fire system alarms and trouble conditions.
• Perform all duties in accordance with established guidelines and procedures while maintaining a strong focus on personal and team safety.
• This position requires flexibility to provide coverage for open shifts on both day and night schedules as business needs dictate. Training and development for the role will be completed during normal day-shift business hours to ensure consistent skill growth and operational effectiveness.
• Working conditions include a heavy industrial environment with potential exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces.
• The role requires the ability to bend, lift, and push materials weighing 40 pounds or more.
