Power Utility Distribution Project Manager

Join to apply for the Power Utility Distribution Project Manager role at Southern California Edison (SCE).

This role involves managing multiple commodities within the Distribution Project Management organization (DPM), overseeing projects such as wildfire mitigation, pole replacements, grid modernization, infrastructure replacement, and load growth across the SCE service territory. Responsibilities include project scoping, estimating, budgeting, oversight, and close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance and grid hardening objectives.
• Develop and manage execution plans, forecasts, and schedules.
• Coordinate with environmental, permitting, and other organizations for pre-construction requirements.
• Lead or participate in meetings with leadership and project partners, providing updates and strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Participate in process improvements and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum: Seven or more years of project management experience.

Preferred: Experience in utility industry, project management certification, and proficiency with MS Office and project management tools. Experience leading electric utility projects and stakeholder collaboration is highly desirable.
