Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Structural Designer to join our Power Engineering Practice.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of civil structural design experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation, and the ability to work independently or within a project team. You will support a variety of challenging projects for large utility and renewable energy clients, delivering concept to final design, and ensuring quality standards across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience focused on structural design (consulting preferred).
• AutoCAD and MicroStation expertise.
• Ability to work independently or in a project team with strong oral communications, analytical, professional judgement, and team-building skills.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural design services in various applications including structural steel detailing, reinforced concrete, and masonry.
• Prepare conceptual and final construction drawings, detail sheets, connections, and foundation designs.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained on every project deliverable.
