Job summary

C C Johnson & Malhotra PC in the DMV region seeks a Structural Engineer to design and deliver complex infrastructure, utility, and facilities projects.

You will design and analyze structures for water, wastewater, bridges, and site infrastructure, prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documents, and coordinate with civil, geotechnical, environmental, and MEP teams through construction.

Proficiency with RISA-3D, STAAD, LPILE, MicroStation and AutoCAD is expected.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• PE, SE, or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, steel, and foundation design.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; municipal or utility clients a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structures for water/wastewater, utilities, bridges, and site infrastructure.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, environmental, and MEP teams.
• Support field investigations and engineering services during construction.
• Use tools such as RISA‑3D, STAAD, LPILE, MicroStationandAutoCAD
