Job summary

Siemens Energy looks for a Quality Manufacturing Engineer to join our Power Transformers site in Charlotte, NC. You will work with internal and external partners to uphold quality standards, perform risk analysis, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring process compliance, applying transformer-specific quality knowledge, coordinating with stakeholders, and training staff on deviations. Some travel and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing Power Transformers.
• Experience with quality tools such as FMEA and 8D.
• Willingness to relocate and travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing processes with transformer-specific quality knowledge.
• Monitor process compliance with technology and manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on quality issues.
• Create real-time transparency for ad-hoc analysis and preventive action.
• Conduct on-the-job training for manufacturing staff based on deviations.
• Ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and procedures.
• Foster a quality culture with process owners.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Identify and manage risks within the quality management system.
