Jobot is seeking a Power Trader based in New York to execute power trading strategies (physical and/or financial) in support of client hedging and bank risk management needs.

You will provide market-making and hedging solutions for clients active in power and broader energy markets, monitor market fundamentals, and collaborate with sales, structuring, and risk teams to drive risk-managed trading initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Execute power trading strategies (physical and/or financial) in support of client hedging and bank risk management needs
• Provide market-making and hedging solutions for clients active in power and broader energy markets
• Monitor market fundamentals and regulatory developments affecting power markets
• Manage trading book risk within defined limits and mandates
• Partner with sales, structuring, and risk management teams to structure client hedging solutions
• Support the bank's clean energy and energy transition trading initiatives
• Ensure accurate trade capture, confirmation, and compliance with internal risk and regulatory frameworks
