Responsibilities

• Keep the department well-organized, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring pricing accuracy.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure the safe handling and storage of power tools.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report low stock items to the department manager or assist with purchasing.
• Stay up-to-date with new power tool products, technologies, and industry trends through ongoing training and education.
• Be comfortable with computers and navigate multiple programs for inventory management, sales, and ordering.

Job Summary: Hardware Sales is seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team in the Power Tools Department. We take pride in offering an extensive range of products and need great retail associates to help our customers find what they need. You will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their power tool needs. Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert advice, guiding customers through product selections, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Prior experience of power tools is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure the safe handling and storage of power tools.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report low stock items to the department manager or assist with purchasing.
• Product Training: Stay up-to-date with new power tool products, technologies, and industry trends through ongoing training and education.
• Computer Systems: You will need to be comfortable with computers and able to navigate multiple programs for inventory management, sales, and ordering as well as doing independent research on products in your department.

This role is regular full-time, non-exempt, hourly position.

This position will require you to be on your feet all day long, as well as lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, and bending. You should be able to lift 50 pounds from the ground as well as put heavy objects on shelves above your head. This job will require climbing ladders and going up and down stairs on a daily basis.
