Hardware Sales Inc. is hiring a Retail Sales Associate for the Power Tools Department in Bellingham, WA.

You will help customers find the right tools, provide informed recommendations, and guide them through product selections to ensure a positive shopping experience. Ideal candidates have strong communication, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We take pride in offering an extensive range of products and need great retail associates to help our customers find what they need. You will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their power tool needs. Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert advice, guiding customers through product selections, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Prior experience of power tools is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities:Customer Assistance: Greet customers, identify their power tool needs, and provide informed recommendations and solutions.Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our power tool product inventory, including related accessories.Technical Support: Offer technical assistance to customers, answering questions about product features, specifications, and operating procedures.Stocking and Merchandising: Keep the department well-organized, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring pricing accuracy.Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. You should be able to lift 50 pounds from the ground as well as put heavy objects on shelves above your head.
