Job summary

Aggreko, LLC is seeking a Power Technician II based in Mendon, MA. You will work from the Mendon service center, traveling daily to customer sites to service, repair, and operate Aggreko power generators, diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air systems.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, the ability to read schematics and calculate kilowatt/tonnage needs, and a valid driver's license. A TWIC or DOT medical card may be required for some customers, and a strong safety record is

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading schematics.
• Based on customer requirements, may need to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.
• You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment on customer sites.
