Job summary

Aggreko in Mendon, MA is seeking a Power Technician 2 to service, repair, commission and operate Aggreko products. Based at the Mendon service center, you may travel locally to customer sites in your company vehicle.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years experience with power generators and HVAC, ability to read schematics, and be physically able to lift up to 75 lbs. Aggreko offers training, overtime, and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and reading schematics.
• May need to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card per customer requirements
• Valid driver’s license and ability to move or lift objects (up to ~75 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Based at the Mendon, MA service center with daily local travel in company vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.
• Set up and operate equipment on customer sites, solo or with a team.
