Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking an Electric Power Technical Training Instructor to develop and deliver training for our Electric Power, Industrial engines and rental businesses in Georgia. You will design programs, teach the shop floor and classroom sessions, and assess learning outcomes.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with engines/electronics, and the ability to communicate effectively. Travel to sites may be required; valid driver's license is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry related experience and/or training.
• Level 3 Technician or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of engines, electronics, and power generation.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements training programs with outlines and labs.
• Lectures safety and technical topics to employees and customers.
• Administers exams and develops performance reports.
• Schedules equipment and training locations.
• Delivers shop-floor and classroom instruction up to 75% of time.
• Travel to sites for training and program support.
