Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Service Technician to provide support for our Caterpillar Power Systems Rental Product line in Augusta, Georgia. Candidates should have at least three years of experience and a high school diploma. Responsibilities include maintenance and troubleshooting of diesel engines and related systems.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive attitude. A competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and a 401k plan is provided.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Rental Product or accepted alternate.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Caterpillar Power Systems Rental Product line.
• Maintain and troubleshoot engine, electrical, and related systems.
• Communicate findings through reports.

Skills

Microsoft Office Software proficiency

Ability to read electrical schematics

Experience with Diesel engines

Good working knowledge of power generation components

Excellent communication skills

Ability to think independently

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Technical Degree or Certification (preferred)
