Job summary

L & S Electric, Inc. seeks a full-time Power Systems Specialist for the Minneapolis region. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities include testing electrical systems and preparing accurate reports. Significant travel is required, along with on-call duty approximately six times per year. Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on client needs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Effective communication skills necessary.
• Extensive travel, up to 5 days/week with overnights.
• On call duty required approximately six times per year.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot electrical apparatus and systems.
• Perform ground grid testing and medium voltage cable testing.
• Complete reports accurately and timely.
• Apply test procedures for various relay test equipment.
• Perform mechanical work and repairs on breakers.
