Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division (EESS) seeks a Service Application Engineer to support customers and sales teams across the Central Region. This hybrid role requires travel up to 25% and offers a company vehicle.

You will lead development of technical solutions, proposals, and bid packages for medium to highly complex electrical service opportunities. As a trusted advisor, you will work with sales teams, channel partners, and customers to optimize pricing strategies,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; PE license preferred.
• 7+ years of hands-on field service and/or proposal generation experience in electrical industry.
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel up to 25%.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of technical solutions, proposals, and bid packages for medium to highly complex electrical service opportunities.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to sales teams, channel partners, representatives, consultants, end users, and operations teams.
• Analyze project specifications, develop pricing strategies, prepare cost estimates and scopes of work, coordinate with subcontractors and third-party vendors.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, operations, and field service teams to develop customized solutions that enhance system reliability and customer value.
• Support growth of Eaton service offerings including power system engineering, digital integration solutions, and aftermarket services.
• Lead customer-facing discussions and joint sales calls to promote Eaton's engineering services and solution portfolio.
