Job summary

L2R Consulting in Doral, FL (Miami) on-site with travel seeks a Generator Sales Engineer to bridge sales and field care. You will own technical scoping and pricing of quotes, configure generator sets, and provide field diagnostics to support sales.

The role requires a BS in Electrical/Mechanical/Power Systems or equivalent, 3+ years in generator sales engineering or field service, knowledge of generator controllers (DSE, ComAp), and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Systems Engineering or equivalent hands-on generator experience.
• 3+ years in generator sales engineering, application engineering, or field service.
• Knowledge of generator controllers (DSE, ComAp) and ATS operation.
• Experience preparing technical quotes or bids; government/IDIQ bid experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer/dealer visits.
• Strong Excel, CRM and ERP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Quote and bid support, translating load requirements into generator configurations.
• Prepare accurate quotes and bid packages for dealers, OEMs, and direct customers.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing on lead times and non‑standard configurations.
• Track bid submissions and manage bid pipeline.
• Advise on fuel tank and trailer options to match generator ratings.
• Provide technical diagnostic support and field issue guidance.
