Job summary

Western States Equipment Company in Meridian, Idaho, seeks a seasoned project leader to manage Large Power Systems Rental projects from inception to completion, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate with sales, suppliers, and customers to plan, schedule, and execute rental projects, review contracts, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The role requires a engineering background and PM experience with strong communication to build vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or minimum of 4 years’ experience in Electric Power Generation industry preferred.
• Minimum one-year prior experience working with standby and prime power electric power generation systems required.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).

Responsibilities

• Leads Large Power Systems Rental projects to ensure overall project profitability and customer satisfaction from inception to completion.
• Receives Rental Quote from Power Systems Rental Sales Representative and starts the project management process upon receipt of purchase order.
• Reviews Rental contracts to ensure correctness of technical specifications and commercial terms; provides technical support and cost estimates as needed.
• Meets with customer’s agents as needed or required.
• Prepares technical data and communicates with customer’s engineering staff on questions.
• Coordinates materials delivery and production scheduling; expedites as needed to meet schedules; arranges for shipment.
