Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager for the West Region Power Generation team in Idaho. The role leads multi-discipline projects, maintains client relationships, and pursues new work while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of complex power projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• MS Office and MS Project experience; Access a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
• Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals.
• Serve as proposal champion/manager; assist with proposal prep and risk review.
• Provide daily leadership to project team and technical staff.
• Communicate with client to ensure alignment on deliverables and expectations.
• Monitor budget and schedule; develop recovery plans for shortfalls.
• Manage scope changes and ensure contract compliance.
• Mentor project team on management and consulting issues.
• Perform design or consulting work within engineering expertise.
• Routinely report progress to accounting and operations teams.
• Handle multiple concurrent projects and drive business development.
