Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering; focus in electric power systems preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related Electrical Engineering experience.
• Experience with protection and control systems, including relay settings and coordination studies.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate proposed changes to existing electric facilities for compatibility with protection standards.
• Create new protection and control system designs as required.
• Develop settings and logic for protective relays, logic processors, feeder reclosers, and switches.
• Perform coordination studies using fault simulation software.
• Interface with Planning, Operations and Field personnel to support system operations.
• Assist in storm and emergency restoration assignments.
