Job summary

TEEMA is assisting a client in Highland, IL to hire a Project Manager for Power Systems Engineering. You will own the full project lifecycle, from quotes to cross‑functional coordination and metrics tracking, in a hands‑on leadership role merging technical depth with program management.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ years in engineering management and power industries, with strong communication and documentation skills. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in engineering management or technical leadership.
• 4+ years in Conventional Power industries (oil/gas, coal, LNG, etc.).
• Proven success leading electromechanical projects and R&D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Quote and scope projects in response to RFQs from internal customers.
• Lead projects end‑to‑end, schedule work, and direct teams.
• Oversee hardware and manufacturing documentation.
• Develop and maintain development schedules for hardware/docs.
• Deliver weekly metrics and project reports to leadership.
• Mentor other project managers and engineers.
• Contribute to process improvements and forms.
• Travel occasionally for training or on‑site work.
