Job summary

DLB Associates, a premier engineering and consulting firm, is seeking a Project Manager for power systems studies in mission-critical facilities across the United States. You will lead studies such as short circuit, load flow, arc flash, and coordination from kickoff to final deliverables, ensuring schedules, budgets, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited institution.
• Minimum of five years in electrical engineering, power systems studies, or project management in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with power-system modeling software (ETAP/SKM/EasyPower).
• Strong communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead power systems studies projects from kickoff to final deliverables (reports, TCCs, arc flash labels).
• Coordinate technical activities: load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash.
• Manage subconsultants, define scope, monitor performance, review deliverables.
• Develop RFPs for subconsulted work and evaluate proposals.
• Review subconsultant deliverables for quality and scope alignment.
• Serve as primary liaison between study engineers, design teams, and clients.
• Ensure studies integrate with design/construction workflows and meet NFPA 70E.
• Coordinate scheduling and manpower with PMs and directors.
• Lead QA/QC reviews of all study outputs.
