Job summary

Burns & McDonnell's Power global practice in Honolulu is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team on power generation projects spanning fossil, hydrogen, solar, nuclear and energy storage. You will work with project teams from design through construction to deliver world-class mechanical systems that meet budget, schedule and client requirements.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited), FE/EIT preferred, and 3+ years of mechanical engineering

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• FE or EIT preferred; may have BS in Mechanical/related Eng. Tech and FE exam.
• MS may substitute for 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems for power generation facilities.
• Collaborate with project teams through design and construction phases.
• Adapt mechanical plans to budget, design factors, and client needs.
