Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree with 3 years of experience.
• Alternative: FE with 3 years experience; consulting preferred.
• Master's in electrical engineering with 2 years experience; consulting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team building and organization.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, MS Office and rendering tools.
• EIT certification preferred; PE license encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design from conceptual phase through design completion.
• Modify and review production drawings.
• Design electrical components per project manager requirements.
• Apply knowledge of codes and procedures in the electrical engineering services industry.
• Research and compile project related data.
• Utilize design software to perform calculations and designs.
• Prepare information for client presentations and shop drawings.
• Conduct field inspections and measurements.
• Act as a field engineer on construction sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
