Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Glen Rose, Texas is seeking an engineer to contribute to the development and deployment of generation technologies across Vistra operations. The role focuses on technical support and cross-functional collaboration to enhance plant performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering, PE licensure or equivalent experience, and a strong ability to analyze regulatory and industry issues.

Qualifications

• BS or greater in an Engineering discipline.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or meets additional years of experience requirements.
• Demonstrates and applies knowledge of current and pending regulatory, code and general industry issues.

Responsibilities

• Technical support for the development of commercial / environmental / reliability / sustainability interests in new technology applications.
• Technical support to Operations in the application of technologies at operating plants or plants in development.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Provide innovative solutions for difficult problems.
• Contributes to economic justification/analysis for projects.
• Participate in and lead special projects or teams.
