Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Glen Rose, Texas is seeking a Systems Engineer to perform general analysis and implementation of generation technologies for application to Vistra operations or commercial development.

You will manage programs and projects to enhance the commercial availability of new technologies and improvements to existing technologies, ensuring effective integration at plants and in development projects.

Qualificações

• BS or greater in an Engineering discipline.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or meets additional years of experience requirements.
• Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory, code and general industry issues.
• Proficient with technical evaluation processes.
• Proficient in fossil, solar, battery, or nuclear plant technologies.
• 8 years experience preferred in power plant operations / engineering.
• Strong communication skills with peers and management.
• Ability to execute projects with some oversight.

Responsabilidades

• Technical support for development of commercial/environmental/reliability/sustainability interests in new technology applications.
• Provide technical support to Operations in applying technologies at operating plants or plants in development.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to economic justification/analysis for projects.
• Participate in and lead special projects or teams.
