Job summary

TechDigital Group seeks an engineer to apply advanced power systems principles to field deployments, perform design work, and support commissioning and testing. You will lead small projects under supervision and develop technical documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Power Systems preferred) with 2–3 years of experience, hands-on experience with distribution modeling tools (Synergi, CYME), and programming

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering (Power Systems background preferred) with 2–3 years of experience.
• Experience with distribution system modeling tools such as Synergi and CYME.
• Programming skills in Python and/or C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Uses and applies technical standards, principles, theories, concepts to complex features.
• Supports development of technical documentation including designs, testing, and reports.
• Works under general direction on routine projects; may lead small projects under supervision.
• May coordinate work of interns or staff and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Performs budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and work order management in support of projects.
• Maintain issue trackers and provide proactive communication to management on issues.
