Fluor Corporation is seeking a Design Engineer IV, Electrical (Power) to lead electrical design for industrial power-distribution systems, emphasizing medium-voltage equipment and studies. You will develop, review, and coordinate calculations, diagrams, equipment specs, and vendor docs within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a four-year electrical engineering degree, 8+ years of experience, and a U.S. PE license.

Qualifikationen

• Accredited four-year degree, or global equivalent, in electrical engineering.
• Eight or more years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Active Professional Engineer license in a U.S. state or jurisdiction.

Aufgaben

• Develop and review power-system studies, calculations, specifications, single-line diagrams, equipment requirements, protection and control requirements, and vendor documentation.
• Apply Cost Competitive Execution techniques to develop cost-effective total project solutions for discipline engineering work.
• Participate in equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting.
• Perform and check electrical calculations, specify equipment, and solve moderately complex engineering problems.
• Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements and resolve discrepancies.
