Job description

What Youll Do

• Plan and design electrical distribution systems primarily for military base power infrastructure
• Analyze and model electrical loads to support system growth and reliability
• Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and relay coordination
• Work under experienced PEs while developing technical and project leadership skills
• Support project coordination, schedules, and task assignments
• Participate in site visits, client meetings, and technical presentations
• Review designs and construction documents for quality and compliance

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Sag10, load flow, short circuit analysis, and relay coordination
• Experience with distribution planning tools (e.g., WindMil and/or CYME)
• Familiarity with time-current coordination and protection devices (breakers, fuses, reclosers)
• Ability to identify electrical hazards and support safe system design
• Interest in power systems, utilities, or distribution engineering
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 20%
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
