Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct computer modeling and analysis for transmission planning studies, including steady state, short circuit, and dynamic stability analyses.
• Perform power system impact studies and NERC compliance analyses.
• Conduct generator interconnection studies, including SSR studies.
• Ensure renewable and storage projects meet Voltage Ride-Through requirements.
• Participate in ERCOT working groups and case building for clients.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain study data.
• Complete projects timely while meeting quality and budget goals.
• Identify training needs and coordinate with management.

Qualifications

• Team player with strong relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change.
• High standards for quality report and product delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on power systems.
• Experience with power system impact studies and software like PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, TARA.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Ability to train others and oversee work.
• Capable of handling multiple complex tasks independently.
• Experience in team collaboration and developing engineering tools.
