Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct computer modeling and analysis for transmission planning, including steady state, short circuit, and dynamic stability studies.
• Perform impact studies, NERC compliance analyses, generator interconnection assessments, and ensure VRT requirements are met for renewable and storage projects.
• Participate in ERCOT meetings, prepare technical reports, and manage project timelines and quality standards.
• Identify training needs and contribute to team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on power systems.
• Experience in power system impact studies and familiarity with software like PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA.
• Proficiency in Python programming and strong report writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate in team settings.
