Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to perform electrical design, analysis, and power studies for domestic and international projects. The role requires a 2+ year background in power systems and hands-on experience with SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, or EZPower.

The ideal candidate will handle short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash, and power quality tasks, with strong communication and client-facing skills. Domestic and international travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Power Systems focus preferred.
• Experience with short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash, and power quality studies preferred.
• Proficiency with power system modeling/analysis software (SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EZPower) desirable.
• Knowledge of low-, medium-, high-voltage systems up to 500 kV.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering design, analysis, and power system studies for domestic and international projects.
• Conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination, and arc-flash studies.
• Perform power factor analysis, harmonic modeling, and grounding studies.
• Interact with customers to gather project information and review plans.
• Occasionally support field activities under field services teams' direction.
• Collaborate with engineering and field teams to develop practical, reliable solutions.
