Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Power Systems Engineer in Wisconsin to support electrical power projects for industrial and utility clients. You will perform design, analysis and studies, including short-circuit, protection coordination and arc-flash analyses, and you may work on-site with customers.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, and are proficient in SKM/ETAP/ASPEN/EZPower. Occasional travel to domestic and international sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience in short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash and power quality studies preferred.
• Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EZPower or similar power-system modeling software.
• Knowledge of low, medium and high voltage up to 500 kV.
• Clear English communication, both written and spoken.
• Field experience with substations or switchgear desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design, analysis and studies for domestic or international projects.
• Conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination and arc-flash studies.
• Perform power factor analysis and correction, harmonic modeling and analysis, and grounding analysis.
• Interact with customers to gather information and review engineering plans.
• Occasionally work in the field under Field Services supervision on shutdowns, startups and maintenance projects.
